In the ’90s, I earned my bachelor’s degree in business and began my career as a financial advisor. I helped clients build long-term wealth using mutual funds—focused on retirement planning and college savings. It was rewarding work, but I always wanted to do more than just build portfolios—I wanted to actively trade the markets myself.
Later, I pursued both a law degree and an MBA, earning them together. That opened doors to a range of professional roles: I served as Director of an MBA program, worked in commercial loan underwriting where I gained deep experience in risk management, and eventually returned full-time to the practice of law.
But despite the turns my career took, my interest in trading never went away.
The big shift came during the pandemic. Like many professionals, my legal work moved to a remote setup, and suddenly I had a flexible schedule. That gave me the time and space I needed to finally dive into the world of active trading.
Since then, I’ve been fully immersed. I now trade both equities and the FOREX markets. And through this blog, I share what I’ve learned (and continue to learn) with fellow beginning traders who are just starting out.
My goal is simple: to create a supportive and informative space where new traders can gain the confidence and knowledge to navigate the markets intelligently and with purpose. No hype, no shortcuts—just solid, real-world insight from someone who’s walked the path from investor to trader.
